“We did not stay here. The woman at the front desk was short with me and did not even try to help us even though we had come from 4 hours away, we had cash and a card but because the room wasn't in the cardholders name she said we couldn't stay there n she had no other rooms even though it was booked in advance. ”

“The hotel itself was fine. It would have been a great experience had our next door neighbors not been trash. Apparently there was a wedding party visiting and on our second night, the room guests next to mine were fighting for hours, waking my daughter and myself. We're very deep sleepers but furniture was slamming against the wall and at one point I had to tell the front desk we were quite certain we heard a gunshot in their room. Thankfully the clerk handled it promptly. Off and on, their large dog barked throughout the night, but animals can't help deal with stress in their own way. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of the croissants and muffins so we had to share one. The coffee is 24 hours, but about 50% strength even using the "strong" button. The breakfast clerk was extremely nice and very tidy in her space. I hope management sees this and commends her for being an asset to the hotel. Since the weather was getting cool at night, our lacking a/c wasn't terrible but definitely needs to be tuned up or replaced. The heat worked great in the morning. No fan in the bathroom, but the shower was great. Towels were nice & fresh, good quality as well. The bed cover had cigarette burn holes in it and need to be thrown out. I'm not normally one to complain, but there were multiple issues here. The staff is the saving grace for this hotel. The next time I have family in town I'm not sure I'll stay here again. ”

“A manager refused to fix a water faucet, small dress (it already is broken when I arrived), and a several bugs in the room. ”

“ The room was filthy and looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. It smelled funny. I had my own cleaning supplies, so i cleaned it and sprayed lysol and air freshener to help -There was duct tape surrounding the door to the adjoining room. -The light fixture was hanging by a wire. -The surfaces were gross. I brought clorox wipes and lysol and wiped everything down. -I brought my own bedding. The mattress was covered in the plastic from the manufacturer, but the sheets and pillows looked suspicious. -I didn't see any bugs thankfully. -They gave me 5 wash cloths and 2 hand towels at check in- no bath towels; luckily I bring my own towels. -The paint was peeling INSIDE the bathtub. -the toilet had dark stains in and around it. -There was no toilet paper or garbage can in the room at all -there were NO AMENITIES. no cups, ice bucket, phone, NOTHING. ONLY A BED AND A TV. -The remote didn't work. I didn't bother going to the office - there were sketchy people loitering, and a bullet hole in the door of the office. Due to large crowds expected in town, I was unable to find another place to stay (I'm in town for work.) I didn't expect 5 stars for the price, but did expect basic amenities (towels, clean bedding, TOILET PAPER, etc.) I travel to Baton Rouge for 2 nights every week for work, and I can tell you I will not be staying here again.
