“Nice hotel with a lot of style and history”

“The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was great service for the price.”

“The hotel as a whole is lovely. Staff and facilities were amazing and we could not fault them. However we found it pricy for what it was compared to other hotels were have stayed at. The rooms were very comfortable however dated and the terrace with its fake grass were not in keeping with the 5 stars. It was often noisy at night with the train and a busy road just outside, where people like to rev their engines whilst speeding past. Saying that, the hotels location is within easy reach of Cascais and its many restaurants and bars. There are beaches nearby too. As well as the train to Lisbon is just down the road. ”

“The location cannot be beat; parking is free and very easy; the staff are friendly and helpful and there is still a certain status that comes with staying at the hotel. If what you want to do in Cascais is hang out by the pool to see and be seen, then this is a great hotel for you. But beyond the location, the hotel is definitely showing its age and is in need of a renovation. AT the 5-star level and at the price point of the rooms are there are newer, similarly located properties with better rooms and better amenities.”
