“My stay was great and the room was clean and nice ambiance.”

“This hotel is conveniently and strategically located at the center of the city. Very near establishments like malls (SM City Mindpro), restaurants, market and even the City Hall, Church, and port. So, if you want to save on transportation when you plan to roam around the city (that is if you prefer to walk) then I recommend this hotel to you since riding a tricycle or Piaggio is a bit expensive in Zamboanga for tourists since they tend to overcharge if you are not aware how much the actual fare is. As, for the room, I was given a decent room, though it is a bit old. I booked for 4-day/3-night, but they didn’t clean my room even I put the sign to “Make up my room”. For some reason, someone has flipped the sign the other way. I was not sure if it was intended or not. Also, they only provide free soap and shampoo and no toothpaste and toothbrush. No free tea or coffee too. But they have an unlimited supply of drinking water as they have a water dispenser outside the room just beside the elevator. The staffs are friendly and accommodating but are not that knowledgeable about their city as they cannot give you answers when being asked about some tourist spots or best place to hang out around the city. It seems they are all just newbies in this field. Still, I can say I had a comfortable stay since I was away almost the entire day and just get back in the afternoon to shower and take rest.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Marcian Garden Hotel. The staff was very kind, friendly, very accommodating and going that extra bit to make our stay memorable. The room are very clean and in good order with a desk for my laptop and a comfortable ergonomic chair. The breakfast was very healthy and delicious. Room service, food and service was excellent. We enjoyed the pool very much. Our little girl was always looked at and spoiled at all time by the staff. Thank you to all, we will be back. ”

“I hope they will let their traveller use the room freely without any restriction.( Like for the linen, its restricted to leave stain on their linen, traveller must pay for it, )”

“CONS: Don't be fooled by the photos, its expectation vs reality. The hotel's bldg is old so the CR, faucet, and shower is rusty and defective. There are cockroach or ants in the room. The aircon doesn't get cool. PROS: They let me checkin early. The staff are nice, approachable and helpful. It's walking distance to SM Mindpro and downtown proper. ”
