“We had the best stay in Baletin Hometel Basco, Batan Island. We stayed for 9 days between March 9-17, 2025. It was a five star experience from the services, hospitality and friendship. Baletin Hometel has the perfect location in Basco wherein there are many dining places within 5-10 minutes walk, Basco lighthouse is one of the best spots to watch sunset between 15-20 minutes walk and Baletin Hometel is near Basco airport. Mr. and Mrs. Baletin are both hands on in ensuring their guests are attended to and provided the best experience and services during our stay. The accommodation is basic and at the same time comfortable. Rooms are air conditioned. Bathroom shower has heater. Water and coffee is unlimited. Airport transfer is included. They also arrange tour for their guests. We were able to visit the three islands of Batanes: Batan, Sabtang and Itbayat. We’re happy that schedule of tours are flexible as we are dependent on a good weather to ensure our safety. Baletin Hometel gave us “The Best of Batanes” during our stay. “Overall my stay was pleasant. Reasonable price. The hotel is new. Beautiful architecture modern. Nice staff. The only con my room is near the pool and the guests by the pool were loud that I couldn’t get to sleep. I reported them to the front desk though but still continue laughing and talking loud.”

“The hotel was overall great -Prime location and very courtese staff. However, sad to note - the airport shuttle did not come as and when expected to pick me up from the airport - inspite of sending an email 2 days prior to confirm - reason being the reception said - email Id of the Mango suites website at the time of booking was not used by them anymore- and I had to pay 500ph to get to the hotel on my own... please agoda inform them to update only email Ids that are currently used, for future travellers.. Other things being said - the hotel staff were just perfect.”

“The location is very convenient, it's at the heart of the city. We arrived 30minutes and all good to go, the facilities however, have forgotten to put in the pillow case and handed it to us 30 mins. after. But overall, the stay is one of an experience and will surely come back.”

“No provided toothbrush slippers. No complementary coffee even 3 in 1/instant coffee. Even had to ask for water. No complementary van transfer to town proper which is less than 10 mins away Wifi provided but limited access with use of coupons. Wifi access expired in the wee hours of the morning. ”
