Sir Bert and his team is very accommodating which reflects the true Ivatan Culture. We stayed in their Hometel for 9Days8Nights for our Destination Wedding. I can attest that he is very hospitable and very reliable. The rooftop feature is a plus and made it even memorable since we celebrated my husband's birthday there. Thank you Sir Bert. We will surely be back on your Hometel soon.

Baletin Hometel...i chose this for our 3-day Batanes holiday because of their previous customer reviews. Indeed, what they said is true. It is in the center of Basco. Check in processing is smooth. They feed you upon arrival ! The staff are friendly. It is like going home after a long time. I will introduce Baletin Hometel to my friends for their Batanes accomodation when they visit the island. I had a very pleasant stay at Baletin. For a solo traveler who prefers simple and basic amenities, this was for me. The room and common spaces were clean. The aircon was working well. They provided towels, shampoo and toilet paper. Breakfast was included, free coffee all day and free WiFi (the signal can be weak at times with probably depends on the number of guests at a given time). Eateries and mini groceries were within 5-10 minutes walk away. I also booked my three-day tour for North and South Batan and Sabtang Island, plus an additional tour for Tayid Lighthouse and Diura Fishing Village with them. It was great! The tour guide assigned to me (Manny) was very nice, entertaining and was a good photographer too. So happy with the photos he took! My flight got cancelled due to Typhoon Uwan and the owners were very kind, understanding and accommodating to my requests to make sure I was safe and comfortable. I’d stay here again when I come back!

I have stayed in Baletin 2 years ago and again just this November 2025. The place is clean and central. The staff are friendly and the owners are very accommodating. They have a huge rooptop area which we have used sevaral times to have our meals because the view from above is really nice. There is a free breakfast daily and the owners even offered complimentary lunch when we have to extend our stay because of the bad weather and the flights were cancelled. Internet is just OK considering we are on a remote Island. They have starlink. I will surely consider staying here again should I be in Batanes in the future.

I like the location! It’s nearby the Capitol Plaza, airport, restaurants and especially INC Local Congregation. Most of them are 5-15minutes walk. The staffs are very accommodating and addresses the problem right away whenever we had one.
