Horlina’s Homestay

Horlina’s Homestay presents good value due to its central location friendly staff. The place is only a 20 minute walking distance to either the airport or Basco town center. The owners are very friendly and accommodating to my requests. Only improvement I can suggest is installing a shower head with water heater.

We would like to sincerely thank the Holina family for allowing us to stay at their homestay in Batanes. It was a truly wonderful experience to be in such a peaceful and relaxing place. The people are very polite and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having a private bathroom. It was a great convenience to be able to cook our own meals. One of the highlights was relaxing on the balcony, overlooking the sea, with the lighthouse and rolling hills in view—a truly breathtaking scenery. The homestay is conveniently located near the market, airport, church, plaza, and convenience store, making it easy for us to explore and get around. Lastly, Mr. and Mrs. Holina are very kind and welcoming hosts. We highly recommend their homestay to anyone visiting Batanes. Given the chance, we will definitely choose Holina's Homestay again. Spacious and very clean. We had free breakfast upon arrival. Cooking is allowed. We had a view of the lighthouse and a limited view of the sea from the property. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Walking distance from the airport but we do not recommend walking if with suitcase. Airport transfer to and from the airport is courtesy of the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will come back again.

There won't be a better Batanes experience if the place we stayed in was also a feels-like-home place. A great place to look forward to rest after touring around each day. Grateful for this place. Thank you so much for being part of our Batanes experience. Thank you Horlina family.

We chose to sfay in a homestay and this one didn't disappoint. With the price, it was more than what I expected. It's super clean, and we had the house to ourselves. The owners were friendly and whenever we had some little issues, they came right away to help or assist. The husband was so kind to even take us by his tribike to places where we could eat lunch and dinner. The bathroom has a water heater but shower water pressure was weak so we were provided with a bucket and a dipper. Our first 2 days in Basco, the weather was so cold and so they provided us with extra fleece blanket. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay. We had nice sleep and rest.
