“This hotel is conveniently and strategically located at the center of the city. Very near establishments like malls (SM City Mindpro), restaurants, market and even the City Hall, Church, and port. So, if you want to save on transportation when you plan to roam around the city (that is if you prefer to walk) then I recommend this hotel to you since riding a tricycle or Piaggio is a bit expensive in Zamboanga for tourists since they tend to overcharge if you are not aware how much the actual fare is. As, for the room, I was given a decent room, though it is a bit old. I booked for 4-day/3-night, but they didn’t clean my room even I put the sign to “Make up my room”. For some reason, someone has flipped the sign the other way. I was not sure if it was intended or not. Also, they only provide free soap and shampoo and no toothpaste and toothbrush. No free tea or coffee too. But they have an unlimited supply of drinking water as they have a water dispenser outside the room just beside the elevator. The staffs are friendly and accommodating but are not that knowledgeable about their city as they cannot give you answers when being asked about some tourist spots or best place to hang out around the city. It seems they are all just newbies in this field. Still, I can say I had a comfortable stay since I was away almost the entire day and just get back in the afternoon to shower and take rest.”
