“Requested for early check in so we can go to EK early but did not reply… upon arrival,, we were charged additional P400 for the early check in but we were not informed of that… the elevator in building is not functioning so we have to climb up the stairs to go to the unit in 5th floor… the given unit was not the same as the picture as advertised… no official receipt were given for the payment on our accommodation as well as for the additional charge for early check-in… upon arrival, there were no towels in the unit, we had to request it.. we were not also informed of the break period of the shuttle service from the main gate of ciudad de san jose going to san jose residencias so we have to walk about 10-15minutes under the hot weather in the area.. they should have specified in the description of the property so those who will accomodate prior going to EK will not get tired of walking, going up the stairs up to the 5th floor… ”

“We had an amazing stay in this unit. The host/owner is very accommodating. Dynel made sure we have everything we needed. It’s convenient/accessible to order and cook food. It’s also grab food/car friendly. Easy access pool as well and the residence is a nice place to do some outdoor walk. We also felt secure as there are guards in the entrance. No hassle in transpo as there is a shuttle that can pick up/drop off you. And the entrance is walking distance to EK. 10/10 Recommended staycay near EK. We are planning to book again in the future. “Madie's Place is a cozy and comfortable guest house with friendly staff and a relaxing ambiance. The common areas are well-maintained, and the overall vibe is very homey. However, the only downside is that the rooms don't have private bathrooms. There are three bathrooms located downstairs, which can be a bit inconvenient. If you're fine with a shared setup, this place is a great choice! ”
