“Even though the location and room were beautiful, i found a spider and a milipede in my bed, cockroaches in the outside shower in the spa and bird droppings all over the pool table..it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time..and the food was nothing to write home about..wont be going again..not worth the crazy high price attached to the stay..im glad i only stayed 1 night”

“According to some elderly regular from Scandinavia who has been going to the hotel for the past 30 years it was built in the 1970s and in its heyday was the last word in luxury. It sits on a magnificent empty white beach between a five star luxury hotel and a number of good quality beach bars including an excellent local restaurant called surf and turf If you're considering staying then yes it's a bit dated, but actually all in all we had a good experience excellent breakfast.”

“The morning breakfast food options were very limited and short of supply. They had almost the same buffet (breakfast) menu for both the days we stayed. Only one main meat item was served each day. First day they only had fish curry and on the second day they had chicken curry which was the only main meat item that was available. On the second day chicken curry was pretty much over around 8.20 a.m and they didnt refill it afterwards. If you are expecting a good spread of food with continued supply, it might dissapoint you.”

“While I don’t have any major complaints about this hotel I didn’t have any wow factors either. The free water given to the guests is just tap water which tastes chemicals and tastes so bad. Even though they had 2 swimming pools they didn’t have a bar nearby so you have to place the order yourself by visiting the only bar situated at the restaurant. Even though they had another mini restaurant across the road, close to the beach you’ll have to pay for your food and drinks as they don’t charge it to your room. I spent 4 nights and found it quite boring.”

“I had an excellent stay at The Beach Cabanas. As a solo female traveler I felt really safe and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was really spacious, equipped well and most importantly clean. The location is the highlight of the stay! You can relax to your heart's content with the beautiful ocean view and go to the beach which is only few feet away. Would recommend the place for a blissful, relaxing and safe holiday! ”
