The morning breakfast food options were very limited and short of supply. They had almost the same buffet (breakfast) menu for both the days we stayed. Only one main meat item was served each day. First day they only had fish curry and on the second day they had chicken curry which was the only main meat item that was available. On the second day chicken curry was pretty much over around 8.20 a.m and they didnt refill it afterwards. If you are expecting a good spread of food with continued supply, it might dissapoint you.

Five stars for the location. Beautiful clean beach with vibrant shades of blues in the ocean. Hands down this is one of the best beaches we've been to. We didn't see any plastics around the beach which you normally see in other popular beaches. Let's talk about the hotel infrastructure... this hotel needs some serious renovations. It seems as they are running it on a low budget despite what they charge from the guests. The buildings had observable water damage and few of the large brick columns facing the beach that supports the building had large cracks. I hope this review gets the attention of the hotel management to do a structural evaluation of the building. Food - we had the breakfast buffet. Overall it was not bad. The Sri Lankan food items particularly were good - mung beans, roast pan ( bread), string hoppers. Fruits were limited and there was a server who would give you just one slice of each fruit unless you go for another round - this is ok to avoid food wastage. Pan cakes were just flour and water mix. Egg station was mediocre. Two types of fruit juices were available - fresh banana juice with lots of I apologize for the delay in my response as I have been traveling in Sri Lanka the last two weeks and wifi access was not great. sugar- tasted as condensed milk was in it. The other was from a concentrated juice like sunquick. Bread station was pretty good. Rooms- we had a triple room came with 3 single beds. Two were put together to make it a double bed. Unusually small rooms with a tiny bathroom. Rooms were outdated and need some serious remodeling. Our room had a ocean view and a tiny balcony- without that it would have been quite uncomfortable for 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 kids) to stay in that room except while sleeping. Staff - they were generally nice but almost all of the ones we encountered had been at the hotel for a few months and were less experienced with their duties. Final thoughts- we would love to go back to this area but will look for other options as this didn't stick with us. But if this gets a facelift will be the first to visit!

I went on jan 2nd. Hotel is bit old but the beach is extremely good. I stayed only one day but want to go again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with a stunning sea view. The staff were very supportive and kind. They even arranged my special request for our 12th anniversary free of charge, which made our stay extra special. Truly grateful for the wonderful experience.

I visited there after 10 years because I loved the stay at the time . Big hotel , all the rooms were sea view , helpful staff , nice dinner and breakfast buffet etc . When I visited recently I noticed the hotel has aged so much so fast . The hot water was powerful enough . And The parking was like 1 km away from the lobby . We had to park the car in a car park bit far away and carry our luggage to the hotel by ourselves, which was not fun . However overall it was a great experience.
