“We turned up after mid night as our plane was delayed. We were off to Cavan so was a good hotel to stay at half way. Breakfast was great, highly recommend their yogurt which was homemade, best I’ve ever tasted. Perfect stay, then we left again at 7:30 a.m. ”

“The Ardboyne is a landmark in Navan. Loved by locals and visitors alike for decades. Food is excellent and great value for the quality that is served. The staff are genuinly friendly and highly efficient, no matter how busy it is... and it's just about always busy. Ample private, free car parking is a blessing. Parking in town and in their other hotel is a nightmare so this location is very welcome. I have to say it is a bit dated. I guess 20 years or so of success with weddings, events, and other footfall, can do that. Overall though it's reliable and trustworthy to provide good accommodation, delicious food and a friendly welcome. ”

“I’m not sure why there are negative reviews from others, but our experience was absolutely perfect. We were a bit hesitant at first because of what we had read, but our stay turned out to be lovely. From the moment we arrived, the lady at reception was very helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room included a safe and a blow dryer. We especially loved the shower! Make sure to visit the sauna during non-peak hours—we had a great time there. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of food. Everything during our stay was perfect. It's an ideal and affordable city break close to Dublin. We would definitely love to stay again. ”
