“Stayed midweek, just after new year. Hotel was still decorated for Christmas which was stunning. Room was very spacious, ground floor. Food was unreal, we ate in the restaurant both nights, great choices and menu was varied to suit all tastes. Guinness in main bar was fantastic. Great location to explore Donegal and surrounding areas.”

“Loved my stay at Doonan Lodge. Only a kilometer from the town centre and overlooking beautiful Donegal countryside. The room was small but having full use of a large kitchen and being able to eat either on the verandah or in the kitchen, with aforementioned views was great. Linda is an extremely hospitable host with great chat! Highly recommended. ”

“Great spot! The check in is at the pub so it is a bit confusing but the staff was really helpful. The location is great and the room was large and clean. Parking was a bit confusing but any lot in Donegal town is affordable. There may be a few stairs but this was a lovely place to stay”
