“The hotel was a good value relative to other higher end options in Sorong, which are not plentiful. Overall the room was comfortable and the staff very gracious and helpful. Still there is plenty of room for the facility to improve. For one thing, it is needed for the hotel to do its utmost to eliminate roaches from the premises. I saw and killed three in my room during my stay. With proper employment of extermination services, this should be unnecessary, especially in a four-star establishment. Second, the internet signal was weak and unreliable and cut out entirely at times. I had problems with the wifi in both my room and the lobby. Again can be remedied by the hotel by paying for better internet service or more routers. With many guests likely traveling on business, a strong and stable wifi signal is really a necessity in this hotel. Based on these defects, the hotel does not compete on quality with the best hotel in town, though it is substantially cheaper.”

“I think this accommodation offers very good value for the price. The room was absolutely fine for what I paid: comfortable, clean, and suitable for a short stay. It felt like a fair deal overall. One of the highlights is the view from the terraces, which is really beautiful and definitely one of the best parts of the stay. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The breakfast is varied, with several options available, although personally I didn’t find the quality to be very good. It was decent, but not particularly memorable. Overall, I found it to be a comfortable and pleasant place to rest, especially considering the price. A good option if you’re looking for something affordable with nice views and a relaxing atmosphere.”

“We stayed there for one night and will never come back. Working on a diving boat in Sorong, we are used to spend one night every week in different hotels in the city, and this one is by far the worse we tried. Only positive points were the fast and efficient check in, and the location close to our favorite restaurant in town. Bad points: strong cigarette smell from the lobby to our room ( even if we asked specifically for a non smoking room). Our clothes and bags are still smelling. Globally, quite dirty hotel with cigarette butts and trash in the corridors Breakfast was really not good, even if we are used to Indonesian food for breakfast. People were extremely loud any time of the day or night, shouting or listening music on their phones (including resort staff) Price of the room is cheap, you get what you pay for….”
