The hotel was a good value relative to other higher end options in Sorong, which are not plentiful. Overall the room was comfortable and the staff very gracious and helpful. Still there is plenty of room for the facility to improve. For one thing, it is needed for the hotel to do its utmost to eliminate roaches from the premises. I saw and killed three in my room during my stay. With proper employment of extermination services, this should be unnecessary, especially in a four-star establishment. Second, the internet signal was weak and unreliable and cut out entirely at times. I had problems with the wifi in both my room and the lobby. Again can be remedied by the hotel by paying for better internet service or more routers. With many guests likely traveling on business, a strong and stable wifi signal is really a necessity in this hotel. Based on these defects, the hotel does not compete on quality with the best hotel in town, though it is substantially cheaper.

The staff were really good, making sure that we could check in late at midnight when our ferry was late and the breakfast had a really good selection and opens at 5am which is great if you have an early flight or boat to catch. The room was very clean and exactly as described.

My stay was fine in general. I booked a room with no windows which I wouldn’t do again, felt like a prison cell. My complaint though came at check out time. On the dot the power was cut off to the room and I was left in total darkness, trying to find all my stuff without tripping on chairs etc. no warning just suddenly black as night. This is very dangerous and a terrible method of making the guest leave.

Alltogether ok, but it was a bit loud from the floor, breakfast had a lot of varriation but everything was cold and the plates dirty. The room with no windows was very dark as not all lights worked. We cannot recommend it.

Thank you Rylich Panorama we had such a great stay, the staff were all really helpful and friendly, our room was great and we went up to the rooftop for a beer and ended up having the Buffett grill which was delicious and reasonable. Would definately stay again it was our favourite out of our sorong hotel stays!
