“Very thin walls so you could hear someone coughing all night and I fell down the gap in-between the twin beds pushed together. The room was clean, comfy and basic and the staff were all absolutely lovely. Minus the lack of knives at breakfast it was really good food. ”

“Brilliant location in the heart of Wells. Very friendly staff. My room included everything I needed - lots of coffee/tea/water/large towels and toiletries. However, the lighting was rather dim - the only windows were in the door, which opened onto an outside balcony. There was a lovely comfortable chair in the room - but I could not use it as it was in a dim corner with no surface next to it for a cup/glass and the TV could not be seen if I sat in this chair. The layout of the entire room could do with a re-think so that this chair could be a useful asset. The chef did not turn up on my final morning, so the guests were told that we could not have cooked breakfast, which was disappointing, although there was lots of cereal to help ourselves to, plus toast. ”
