“We stayed here so we could explore the village and surrounding areas. Central to the village opposite the beautiful church. The king size room was large and clean with an onsuite bath with shower over. Great choice of food on the menu at reasonable prices. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was OK but I was given black pudding with my breakfast when I said I was vegetarian. My husband's bacon looked like it was deep fried and very hard. Thankfully there was a fan in the wardrobe which came in handy as we were there in the heatwave.”

“The room was well equipped, although a little dark. The real problem is that there's very little soundproofing so every step taken by the people in the room above reverberates around the room. We also had to endure hearing someone's TV until we went up and asked them to turn it down. Beautiful location, but let down by noise. Also £12 for a medium glass of Pinit Grigio is a bit steep. ”
