“Nice friendly manager. Grand old hotel right opposite Stromness ferry terminal and near quaint shops along the cobble stone street. Old style & basic in the single room. But comfortable, good heater & TV and view towards the harbour. Old wall paper but clean room. Local bus stop at ferry terminal across the road is handy and if you’re catching the early ferry.”

“Small room but it had all the facilities I needed including en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making. There is a restaurant and a bar downstairs and the location is just a few minutes walk from the beach”
