“I’ve traveled extensively throughout the world. I am biased, in the UK we do hotels the best. Our rooms, staff, attention to detail are all exceptional. Every country in the world is different, hotels are rarely not. The reason for this is that every hotel in the world copies or at least try’s to copy what we do in the UK. We are great value for money, every guest is treated with dignity and respect, the staff from the cleaners, the front desk, the chefs, the waiters and waitresses, the bar people, and the night staff are the best and nothing is too much trouble. We do not tolerate rudeness, we as hotels expect every guest to be neat, well dressed, courteous and behave as well as if we were invited into someone else’s house. This is called basic manners. I recommend you treat every member of staff with dignity, be polite and enjoy the facilities. If you have a question, problem or need something, just ask. I can only say this. Regardless of wether you have paid to stay somewhere or not, treat where you stay with respect and that is exactly what you will receive. In conclusion to my review, I would like to thank everyone of this fine establishment and if I was to recommend what the UK is, what it should be, this hotel sums it up perfectly. Thanks again for an exceptional stay and I’m a life long fan. ”

“Internet not working and staff not helpful trying to fix things or help No towels anywhere in room or bathroom. Had to use a pillow case in the morning as no on site staff to help Bathroom had either empty (cap off, upside down) mini shampoo bottle and half empty (cap off) body wash. Bed not properly made and tucked in. For the price the room was very tired and facilities very poor Obviously no culture of customer service whatsoever. If hadn’t paid in advance (or someone was there when I left). I would not have agreed to pay full cost ”

“The single mattress in the room I was in has been so well used you could feel every spring - it needs replacing - luckily the weather was warm at night so I slept on top of the duvet on the floor instead - I use hotels every two weeks and this is the worse mattress I have ever had. Everything else was good from pricing, staff, location and parking though the whole purpose of hotel is to get a good nights sleep which is impossible on the mattress in the room I was in - Room 24. Thanks”
