I’ve traveled extensively throughout the world. I am biased, in the UK we do hotels the best. Our rooms, staff, attention to detail are all exceptional. Every country in the world is different, hotels are rarely not. The reason for this is that every hotel in the world copies or at least try’s to copy what we do in the UK. We are great value for money, every guest is treated with dignity and respect, the staff from the cleaners, the front desk, the chefs, the waiters and waitresses, the bar people, and the night staff are the best and nothing is too much trouble. We do not tolerate rudeness, we as hotels expect every guest to be neat, well dressed, courteous and behave as well as if we were invited into someone else’s house. This is called basic manners. I recommend you treat every member of staff with dignity, be polite and enjoy the facilities. If you have a question, problem or need something, just ask. I can only say this. Regardless of wether you have paid to stay somewhere or not, treat where you stay with respect and that is exactly what you will receive. In conclusion to my review, I would like to thank everyone of this fine establishment and if I was to recommend what the UK is, what it should be, this hotel sums it up perfectly. Thanks again for an exceptional stay and I’m a life long fan.

Nice place to stay for the night. Had no internet in my room which I didn’t query as only the one night stay. Arrived at midday and hotel wanted to charge me a 10 pounds fee for early checking so waited until 1400. No air conditioning in Room and I couldn’t open window. Compfortable room. Good breakfast.

Nice Hotel Good breakfast But dated but clean, very helpful and on it staff Note rooms at back facing busy road so very noisy…. Ask for room front side which is quiet, only downside

Good parking and check-in but the room was far too hot. Also the breakfast was good overall but on each day not enough coffee, tea, butter etc etc was put out and big delays. On 2 days a buffet without a menu of other options but on the other day there was a choice - hit and miss.

Room was good, the food was very good both in quality and value. I wish there was more lights in the room. Front desk staff was not too helpful—not rude but didn’t go out of their way to answer questions. I would return.
