“Unfortunately i have to say that it promises more than it delivers. My room was tired, the loo did not flush well, the member of staff did not know the code for the wifi. Overall feel was tired.”

“Great sleep, fantastic breakfast just lacked atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The bar staff definitely to learn some customer service skills but it was a lovey pint of Guinness.”

“You have to pay the parking ”

“Pleasant clean hotel but breakfast menu lacked clarity and options unusual. Staff very helpful”

“A very friendly pub with rooms. It's a characterful old building, so expect creaky floors, wonky bathroom door that doesn't want to stay closed and low doorways in some places. Some road noise early morning. Likewise the pub can be heard upstairs when busy. Breakfast is good if not quite great. ”

“What a little gem of a place! The room was fantastic, very spacious & clean. Set in a very quiet location with lots of great walks. The food was excellent, the portions were very generous & tasty. Staff were extremely friendly & were very helpful. 5* country pub, highly recommend ”

“Ground floor room next to the car park created some noise issues at 2 am in the morning. If these were members of staff leaving after their shift then the hotel should perhaps have a few words with them. It seemed unlikely that they were guests leaving at this time and the restaurant was well closed. Our experience of the next door restaurant was also a little disappointing given the price which did not quite match the quality of food and the service issues with staff failing to deliver any requested condiments to our table after 2 requests. When we tried to order dessert we were told the kitchen was closed. Good value though in a lovely location next to the riverside. ”
