“The hotel is excellent for a short stay. Close to local shops and to St Peter's church. A bit far from town center but close to two bus stops to get there. Staff are veryyyyy friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back next visit to Reading!! ”

“Ground floor room next to the car park created some noise issues at 2 am in the morning. If these were members of staff leaving after their shift then the hotel should perhaps have a few words with them. It seemed unlikely that they were guests leaving at this time and the restaurant was well closed. Our experience of the next door restaurant was also a little disappointing given the price which did not quite match the quality of food and the service issues with staff failing to deliver any requested condiments to our table after 2 requests. When we tried to order dessert we were told the kitchen was closed. Good value though in a lovely location next to the riverside. ”

“Lovely building and rooms. Very beautiful interior. Just found that we had stale milk left in our fridge so couldn’t have coffee in the morning. Also the bathroom sink was partially blocked so just felt that for the money paid, it could have been better. Parking at £20 a day was expensive however appreciated the goodwill gesture of a few more hours when I was running over time. Thank you ”

“The room was a good size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very well situated for our needs. The bar attached was very handy and catered for gluten free. Room was cleaned every day. Overall a good experience and I would happily stay again ”

“A newly-established hotel in a central location. Staff were obliging, rooms were clean and not too small. Bathroom was good and shower worked well.”

“Rooms need a bit of updating. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Lift did not work”
