“The location is surprisingly good since there are two busses that lead straight to downtown Reading. Staff is very friendly and provide good service with 24/7 desk staff present. Main downside is that the place is old and a bit run down. I for example couldn't get the hot water to work. ”

“Lovely building and rooms. Very beautiful interior. Just found that we had stale milk left in our fridge so couldn’t have coffee in the morning. Also the bathroom sink was partially blocked so just felt that for the money paid, it could have been better. Parking at £20 a day was expensive however appreciated the goodwill gesture of a few more hours when I was running over time. Thank you ”

“Very easy to find about 7 mikes from Henley on Thames. Large rooms, but very hot, and only a weak fan to help ! But I asked for another and one was found ! ( Not sure how you'd go about retro installing air con!) Cheap food in the pub, breakfast good - but needs to still be served earlier at weekends. ”
