“Hotel looking a bit tiered as I booked through Adoda third party the room was clean but we was put in an end room with one window looking onto unkept garden. The room itself was ok but no heating I complained to the receptionist’s and was told it was on a timer so early evening it still had not come on and the room was getting cold I went back to the receptionist and was told they would bring a portable heater. I had to have it on all night as the room was cold through the night. That was Monday The heating came on Wednesday night and again Thursday morning….. never came on again. Recommend you book and make sure you get the room you want as they say because you booked through a third party the cannot change your room ”

“Great location, super hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast. Only minor issues (which are so minor) Agoda assured me the hotel would be in touch nearer the time of my arrival which never happened. I booked a room that would either offer a double or two singles. Arrived and they had assigned a room with twin beds! Room was beautiful, however dusty under the bed ( dropped my watch between the two twin beds and that is how I found out. Also cobwebs in the bathroom, but overall a beautiful room and hotel. Evening meal was beautifully cooked lamb. Portions could be bigger to deliver better BFM. I don’t mind paying the same price as the room on my evening meal but when you order 2x main courses and a cheeseboard and enjoy a bottle of wine it is important feel satisfied. This was compounded by a side order of seasonal greens which was a very small portion. Finally the breakfast was very good. Porsche with cream a whisky was just delightful. The full breakfast was lovely although the bacon was far too well done for my liking. The staff were absolutely lovely and a credit to the hotel. Got 2x preview bills in the morning so took the one posted under the door in error back to reception who apologised! Just a few little things that could have improved my stay but overall very very nice hotel stay. ”
