“I enjoyed a two night stay. There was plenty of free parking in their pwn carpark. Located in the cebtre of Melrose near to nice shops and riverside walk. The food quality was exceptional - both dinner and breakfast (great to have nice coffee and smoked haddock, kippers and salmon on the menu). Room was small but clean and comfortable. Good quslity coffee bags, tea and buscuits in room as well as complimentary bottle of water. ”

“I wanted a no frills overnight stay in the Melrose area. The George and Abbottsford is exactly that. Centrally located, easy to check in, basic rooms with a bar for food and drink. Reasonable compared to the price and the price of other hotels in the area.”
