“enjoyed our stay at the Queens, and would consider booking again next year, if we have a family gathering again in Ludlow, a lovely town to spent a pre Christmas weekend.”

“The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of the town and very convenient. Our room was the smallest and probably the worst that we have stayed in.... ever! Indeed, despite the warnings of it being small it is not actually big enough to be even a single room. The bed barely fits in the room and other than what appears to be a small canteen like table and one bedside cabinet there is no other furniture. The room was clean but the cabinet contained old crumbs in one of the drawers. Further, the window was broken and would not close, or open, properly. The bathroom door handle was also broken off the door. The bathroom door could also not be left open and swung into the shower. We mentioned all of the above to the staff who feigned interest but no more. The staff also swore far too much and too loud when talking amongst themselves; there should actually be none, in the presence of guests. As a result of the above, we will not be staying at the Feathers again and likely not at any other Crest hotel.”

“It fit the bill perfectly. Facilities are basic - we luckily had all own toileteries. No restaurant so no breakfast or dinner. Luckily the Squirrel pub does pub Dinners. Breakfast only weekends which didnt help us. ”

“Overall we enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. The staff, food, location all good. Just one drawback for us…room #4 which overlooks the roof of the kitchen. Rather warm when we arrived and no A/C in the rooms so we wanted to open our windows to cool off. Directly under the windows were four large exhaust fans. So be forewarned. If it’s warm when you arrive and you are assigned room #4 and you want to cool it down by opening the only windows in the room you will not only hear the noise—breakfast, lunch and dinner—as the fans do their work but will also smell what’s cooking in the kitchen. We were provided a fan for the room which helped but it did not solve the problem. We’d still recommend this hotel, just not room #4. ”
