“This is a case of “you get what you pay for”. Check in time of 3pm really means that. There’s nobody at the desk if you arrive early and nobody picks up the 0800 number. That aside, it’s well-situated, quiet and clean. Didn’t try the food, but McDonald’s is right across the street and a very good Lithuanian restaurant (Baltic Amber) is at the end of the hotel parking lot. ”

“Nice hotel clean, bed very comfortable I stayed in a suite, tv good, WiFi good, parking on street I stayed on Saturday night lots of spaces Very noisy due to five jars I had room above but didn’t bother me and was all quiet by 11 ish Staff slow to get me booked in was waiting about quite a bit at desk but they were friendly enough and again I didn’t mind a little wait it was busy in bar ”

“Really Great food! Asian/Indian. Reasonable prices too. Very clean but tired and a bit dark in places. The bar area is pleasant but very quiet, hardly any customers,(which I often like) and has no Real Ale at all and no bottled English beers. Great food and room rates though, so I'll be back. ”

“The room was spacious and spotless. Very comfortable bed, crisp white linen, spacious shower room too although shower needs attention as grouting pretty black in parts, this morning I couldn't get the shower to work. Looked for a pull cord or switch too, but couldn't find one. Couldn't find anyone to ask if there was something I wasn't doing, but it was a basic older type shower which I've not had trouble with before. I ate in the restaurant, adequate pub grub main, but my advice is avoid the 'tropical fruit pavlova' which was truly the most disgusting synthetic tasting pub desert I've ever tasted. Not even real cream. So I wouldn't eat there out of choice, but would certainly recommend the room itself and location. ”
