“We stayed one night at Ashwoods House. There was plenty of parking. The house was easy to find. The rooms smelled so nice and were very clean. In each room were two little cakes. We enjoyed them sitting outside on the back deck overlooking fields. For a small fee, we also were served a Continental breakfast which more than set us up for the day. Highly recommend.”

“Bedrooms were like an oven ”

“Very lovely place, clean with tasty breakfast.”

“We spent 3 nights bed and breakfast in the hotel. We ate in the Restaurant each evening. The room was excellent with a great view over the grounds to the Lower Lough Erne. Breakfast was very good with lots of alternatives. The food each evening was excellent if a little short on alternatives. We used the Leisure facilities each day. These were good. Local National Trust at Castle Coole was a really great tour. The Stairway to heaven proved a stretch too far for 70 plusses but the walk we completed was really enjoyable. The only downside, which was beyond the managements control was the weather.”

“Very relaxing and very welcoming. Staff make the hotel ”

“Wasn’t to pleased. Keep awake at night with load music and people outside. Having to pay for breakfast over the top of what I had already paid for the rooms . No air con or fan in room . So with this all in mind I wouldn’t book to come again. ”

“Room and hotel itself was beautiful, room was spotless, very pretty views of the lake and golf course surrounding the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and quick service. The spa itself felt very outdated we only spent about 15 minutes in it, small pool and tiny jacuzzi, quite uncomfortable sharing such a small space with multiple groups of people. Restaurant served delicious food. Very limited options at the buffet at breakfast, compared to other 5 star hotels we have stayed in breakfast was poor (maybe this was due to us staying during a quiet period?) overall it was a lovely stay but we will not be wanting to return”
