“Stayed for one night in January 2026 to have a closer look at Ely. Recommend Room 3 as it has a very decently sized ensuite and a comfortable bed. Excellent central position for visiting the cathedral, the museum and Cromwell's house. Only slight issue is that the room is at the front of the hotel and there was a fair amount of traffic noise. The pub is old, and shows its age here and there. There are some areas that could really do with a clean-up, but nothing wrong with the overall hygiene. Food was remarkably good. We had an evening meal there and the breakfast is excellent (and served until midday!) If you want to explore Ely, it's in a great position. I can recommend it.”

“We liked this old building with its slightly 'tired' decor and feel. It's facilities were good and it was very convenient for the city, we would definitely come here again if visiting the area. ”

“Needed accommodation whilst on a glass course at Cathedral so only needed a bed and breakfast basis. Unfortunately High Flyer has a restaurant but runs separate to accommodation and does not open for breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return if price included breakfast.😊 but otherwise would recommend it to others.”

“Fantastic location for a stay in Ely, within easy walking distance to town centre. Very calm and peaceful. Large comfortable room and en-suite bathroom, with coffee machine and tea making facilities etc. Room overlooked the river -beautiful! Excellent cooked breakfast. Thoroughly recommend.”
