“Great place to stop for a night or more.”

“Fantastic! Chris is absolutely brilliant and the place is just amazing ! Highly recommended!”

“I had a lovely stay here. The vintage décor gives the place real character, and the bedsheets were beautifully soft — at least 600‑thread‑count cotton. The shower room has a modern finish, and I especially loved the Faithful to Nature shower gel and shampoo; the scents were wonderful. The mini‑fridge, kettle, tea/coffee, and snacks were a thoughtful touch, and there was a fan in the room as well. I did find the duvet a bit warm and struggled to sleep because of it. The blanket irritated my skin so i couldn't use it. A cotton top sheet would have been perfect, though I realise I could have asked for one. The owner was very kind and extended my checkout by two hours when I was exhausted, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent — just a three‑minute walk to the bus stop for the Cadair Idris Minffordd Path. Checkout was easy, and the place is quiet and peaceful.”

“Location is excellent. Room is clean but moderately sized. The restaurant has good food but waitering is disastrous. ”

“A nice find, for a one night stop over on the way to the coast. We loved the location, beautiful walks, very dog friendly & our daughter loved the horses in neighbouring fields. The near by town is great for a few drinks & food. The accommodation was everything needed, we stayed in room 8, the family room at the top of the converted barn. It’s like a secret hideaway up the stairs, surprisingly spacious, but a little warm in the heatwave, which is to be expected on tbd first floor. Really pleased we stumbled across it, would definitely stay again if we travel the area . Highly recommended ”

“The Location is great and Duncan and the Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Good facilities and great breakfast. ”
