“When we arrived, we was greeted by a lovely reception. However, the very long walk to our room was a bit too far! Our room was freezing cold and the heating radiator (one of) didn't work. I informed reception who sent House Keeping with an electric radiator which took the edge of the coldness, neither were the radiators on in the hotel corridors, no heating or heated towel rail in bathroom, so we didn't shower for two days as it was so cold in there. Apart from that, the hotel was comfortable and had a good breakfast. I wouldn't chose to stay there again though.”

“Friendly staff, great food and excellent accomadation”

“Lovely host. Fabulous breakfast. Would have liked to stay longer, we literally just slept over after being at a birthday party for the afternoon and evening.”

“A perfect stopover for us on our frequent journeys to Yorkshire. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Nathan stands out as an excellent manager. Nothing is too much trouble for him to make our stay successful. The 'grab and go' breakfast is ideal to start our day.”

“Arrived at the hotel at 2.15pm so we were aware that we were 45mins before the official check-in time but we were surprised to be told we would have to pay £10 if we wanted to check-in early. Then the receptionist tried to sell us various room upgrades. We asked if we could use the pool whilst we waited but again not until 3.00pm. We went for a coffee and had to approach a member of staff to get any service. We were informed that all the hotel information could be obtained by scanning the QR code in the bedroom. Unfortunately there was nothing in the room to enable us to do this. We could not contact reception as the telephone didn't have any information attached to it. We found out breakfast times by visiting the resturant. On a positive note the breakfast was very good. On the first night there was a dog in the next room which kept yapping. On check out my wife was surprised that she was not asked about our stay. We wouldn't bother to stay again.”

“Only stayed for one night. Room was clean and had a decent sized bed. The mattress was good and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean and had a spacious shower cabin. WiFi was free. The room had a decent sized tv, and also tea/coffee making facilities. The curtain covered the whole wall and kept out the early morning light. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t use any other facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay.!”

“Today yr2025 I cannot understand that there was no Wi-fi because one only will get 30 mins of free wi-fi and the rest you need to pay. It’s unfair. Today you find Wi-fi in playground in Malta.”

“Hotel is very well placed with taxi rank and bus stop just across the road. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable.”
