Disappointing stay
We have stayed here several times, always found the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are tired but the buildings are well used and not new so we accept this. Our stay this time, however, revealed mould in the bathroom and a very heavily stained mattress and mattress cover. We discovered this when I was making the bed to leave in the morning. I showed the manager and he was very apologetic and assured me he would rectify the matter. I have no complaint about the manager or the other staff we met, obviously the cleaning staff have let travelodge down badly in this situation.

nothing wrong with travel lodge but Agoda has still not paid them!!. When I got there to check in she asked for payment as not showing they had received payment I show her that it was shown as paid & was still pending coming out if my account. I would not pay again as I could not stop the payment going out & it us none refundable in the end she phone her superior & agreed to let me have room key but thus wasted nearly an hour of my time. There was also another guy who had been trying to book a room for 4 hours their system was down so he couldn't pay by card & they would not take cash. So I think they need to sort their software out!!
