“Warm welcome checking in our room didn’t have bath but a walk in shower toiletries were good room was warm and comfortable. Dined in the restaurant for dinner it was very busy staff were working hard food was excellent we did say we would return to try the recommended ploughmans lunch. Breakfast was quieter relaxed nice choices. Yes we would return.”

“Choose this hotel for proximity to Glenshee ski area. Great location, enjoyed walk on the Estate. too. Found the staff to be friendly & helpful. Room comfortable, I slept well & often don’t in hotels. Hotel has a good feel to it and was pleased to see restraint with overly Scottish decor which can be found in the highlands. Some decoration/maintenance needed here & there but that is nearly always the case with properties like this. If you are arriving late do check out what time the kitchen closes if you plan to eat at the hotel. I did & so stopped en route. If I hadn’t it would have been a long drive to get something ”

“The room was ok but on the small side. There was NO WiFi in the upstairs of the hotel, reception staff said it had not been working for the past three weeks due to an "upgrade".”

“Desde luego no nos hicieron ningún caso.No había casi luz en las habitaciones (no tenían bombillas), no se podía comer ni cenar porque habían acabado las provisiones, etc... Lo que tenía que ser un agradable fin de semana fue una gran decepción para nosotros cuatro. Igual se puede recomendar como pub pero en ningún caso como hotel/testaurante”
