“So pleased we had the opportunity to stay here while attending a family wedding at Shottle Hall. It’s a lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff. It was a real shame we couldn’t spend longer here to enjoy the room and breakfast some more. We would have no hesitation staying here again and highly recommend it. ”

“I stayed here in 2024 last week of February. In general hotel is a nice one, however some corridors have a horrible smell due to carpets not being cleaned properly. The room I stayed was 20 and it was just above the kitchen area. Whenever a staff came out of kitchen, kitchen door banged. So hotel should have fitted there a less noise making door. Apart from that bathroom taps are double tap which is very less common nowadays. Room was okay but carpet in the room also had a bad smell. Moreover one of the hinges of wardrobe door was broken and sadly hotel never seen that for sure. The desk in the room is also had lots of paint dents. Apart from these it was okay. Continental breakfast is not bad, but for hot breakfast you have to pay extra. Bed and towels were clean.”
