“I visited this hotel for one night for a Gavin and Stacey Tour. The hotel is perfect for that as it's only a 10 minute drive to Barry Island. It's clean, tidy, and well-presented. The staff were helpful, especially with parking late at night as it seems to get quite full. No noise complaints, and Cardiff Airport seems fairly quiet so you shouldn't have issues with the hotel being so close. The only drawback for me was the mattress. It was a spring mattress and I could feel them underneath me. I'm used to a memory foam mattress at home so it could just be my preference, but it was quite uncomfortable. Thanks for the pleasant stay!”

“Good location including parking. Nice breakfast cooked specially by the owner. The family room though at the top has low ceilings and I banged my head several times! No housekeeping carried out during 3 nights stay - not sure why!”
