“Moorlands is a lovely old building set in large mature grounds away from the road. It is well situated for visiting Lynton and Lynmouth and the National Trust Heddon Valley. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent.”

“Nothing wrong with the Hotel but our room in the courtyard was very small and in the bathroom very basic nowhere to put anything , could not sleep as it was to hot the fan made a noise and that was about it, would not bother again. Bar a bit on the pricey side £19-70 for a pint of cider and double vodka and tonic. 🙁”

“The plug sockets near to the dressing table did not work. It was very cold in the room. O extras like slippers and bathrobe, which you get in other hotels. Quite old fashioned rooms, but great location. Food in the restaurant was good. ”
