“This was a great place to stay before catching an early ferry to Arran. The staff were exceptional and the facilities good. My room was a good size but the en-suite was really tiny and would not have suited anyone of a larger size! It also had paper “bath mats” which stuck to your feet!. I could not open the bedroom window, and the entire hotel was incredibly warm, so the night was overly warm for me, but the bed was comfortable. I was also charged the same as my friends even ‘though I was a ‘single’ and they had a twin room, so I think expensive for a single traveller. For these reasons I cannot give 5*s but overall a good stopover.”
