“This hotel is located in a premier spot on top of the hill with wonderful views. The roon and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the 20 or so rooms occupy the floors under the restaurant and bar. Floor -1, wuth rooms 1 through 10 and where we stayed, is directly under floor 0 and the restaurant. You will be awakened no later than 7:30 am on that floor to the sounds of wooden chairs being dragged and banged around the restaurant floor. Floor -2 and it's rooms are hopefully quieter. The noise could easily be abated if staff would put felt glides on the legs of the chairs. Why that has not been done is a mystery. I'd stay again and recommend this hotel if it weren't for the noise issues.”
