“If you’re looking for a quiet or family getaway, this is perfect. Many complaints about the lack of restaurant options around but you can just walk 10 mins to a nearby town so not bad at all. Reception isn’t staffed but just pop down to the restaurant and ask for help, no biggie! The room is basic but lovely views. Buffet breakfast was yum! We upgraded to an aircon room for extra $$ and the aircon definitely doesn’t work. We didn’t find it too hot (the fan saved us) but we were gutted we paid more for aircon that doesn’t work. That was our biggest negative about Xuroy. Would stay again but wouldn’t bother paying more for the rooms with aircon.”
