“This place is beautifully designed and has so many great alcoves to chill and relax. The rooms are comfy and all the staff we spoke to were so kind and helpful. I cannot wait to come back! ”

“Great location for exploring la Laguna. The building is exceptionally beautiful and historic. It has been decorated well, the rooms are huge. It is very clean. It is convenient having a kitchenette, there is no oven or hob. There is no reception but the system seems to work and the owner is always contactable on WhatsApp. There is no parking but there are 2 car parks very near by. There is a free one - Aparcamiento Adelantado 1 minute walk. There are men in this car park who pretend to be parking attendants. They are beggars and can be quite intimidating. There is a paid car park just around the corner Parking Las Quinteras this is €7/24hours. We were always able to find parking in these car parks but at certain times they do get congested with queues. Due to heritage of the building, the windows are single glazed. The room on the road side is affected by road/street noise (we were in room 5). We were able to change room to room 9 which was extremely peaceful. Although this may not always be possible if the hotel is at full capacity. It is obviously not the hotels fault and hard to remedy - but the noise did affect our sleep. The smoke alarm was triggered by the use of our kettle in room 9. It took some time for someone to attend the hotel to reset the alarm. The plug for the kettle is unfortunately placed below the sensor. We subsequently used the kettle in the bathroom to prevent it being triggered again. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful on all interactions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel - with the caveat of being aware of road noise for some rooms. Bring warm clothes - the north is significantly colder than the south. There are lots of nice restaurants in la Laguna and it is a picturesque authentic city to base yourself for a few a days in the north. ”

“Despite the fact that the place is old , it was still acceptable to sleep for a night . with private bathroom. Too expensive for what it is , but the problem is that in La Laguna you don't find any decent hotel.”
