“Parador de Lorca is a very nice hotel in a spectacular location it sites atop a mountain overlooking Lorca city for anyone fit enough it's about a steep 20 minute walk , all downhill , into the city centre , for all but the super fit, a taxi will be needed for the uphill return costing about €10+ The only reason my wife and I are unlikely to stay here again is the strange decision of the owners to not include a bar/lounge in what is a fairly modern building, I do understand Paradores policy of not having bar or pub style sites inside many of the older more historic buildings under their title but not to have a bar in such a modern building in such an isolated site is a mistake , the alternative which they offer of a area of the dining room which they call a lounge, which it isn't, does not work , there is a large non-smoking terrace area served by waiting staff , smokers are to be found in numbers greeting new arrivals outside the main reception area. the largely buffet breakfast which we paid for separately was okay but all other food and drink available was priced extortionately ”

“air conditioning is bad and the bed comfort worse”

“Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Habitaciones amplias y una climatización excelente. Se encuentra en las afueras de la ciudad como en un polígono detrás de una gasolinera pero el hotel está muy bien”
