“We had a great week at Secrets. The view from our ocean room was stunning - the ocean, the mountains and palm trees. We booked B&B and breakfast was great, lots of choice, fresh and hot. Great gluten free options too and non dairy milks. The 'egg guy' made the best omelettes. We ate in the resort a couple of times, the Italian was our fav. The cocktails at the piano bar were so good and the entertainment was different every night. We hired the cabanas a few days which were comfy and the bottle of cava, fruit and snacks is a great touch. It's a lovely spot to chill for the day and the bar staff come round for drinks orders. I really loved all the workshops on offer which you book on via the app. We did cocktail classes, sushi making, candle making and kokodamas (plants), so creative and fun (and free!) There's also loads of fitness stuff like yoga, aqua, pilates and mindfulness sessions. The gym is small but well equipped. We didn't use the spa. We usually stay in smaller boutique hotels but we loved Secrets and the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and it didn't feel too big or busy. The location is beautiful, amazing views and Puerto Calero marina is just a 10 min walk along a paved promenade to some great restaurants, a supermarket, cafes and weekly market. We hired a car for the week and there was loads of parking space (free) at the resort and we loved exploring the island, surprisingly beautiful, gorgeous scenery. Special shout out to Konte (concierge) and Magdalena (animation) who made our stay extra special with their charm and humour. We can't fault anything to be honest, any queries we had were handled so well and quickly, customer service was great. Check in was slow as a few of us arrived together but there was plenty of complimentary cava on offer so we didn't care! Haha We'd stay again if we return to Lanzarote.”
