“everyone told us what a beautiful hotel this was and we were certainly impressed when we entered. The location is fabulous, the decor lovely and the staff friendly. However the hotel needs an update as it was quite old and dated in areas including the bedrooms. A smell of damp in areas too despite 30c+ temperatures! However the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We didn’t eat there so cant comment. The pools look nice but no time to use them. I would only recommend this if it was off season as the price was reasonable but I wouldn’t pay more as I don’t think it’s worth it and don’t class this as a major luxury hotel compared to many others I’ve stayed in globally. ”
