“We stayed for 5 days in July 2026. Loved the location and easy access to shops and restaurants. The Inn itself is older and a bit tired; could use a refresh. Also the hallways were quite dirty. The room itself was okay, nothing fancy. The air conditioner worked but was set to 19 so didn't adequately cool our room. But the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Despite the superb location right on the lake/marina, we would likely try a different place next time we visit and just walk to the marina.”

“The location is perfect! It’s within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and major attractions like Waterton Lake and the nearby waterfalls, making it very convenient to explore the area. However, our biggest disappointment was that our room did not have air conditioning. During our stay, many guests were upset and complained to the front desk because they also expected the rooms to have A/C. We were disappointed as well. While Agoda may have disclosed this in the room details, most people naturally assume that a hotel room comes with air conditioning, especially during the summer, so it’s easy to overlook that detail. It was extremely hot during our stay. The room only had one electric fan, so we requested a second one. Although the staff provided another fan, it was very loud, making it difficult for us to sleep throughout the night. The front desk staff explained that they have already applied for approval from Parks Canada to install air conditioning, but the project has not yet been approved. They also mentioned that some of their other properties do have air conditioning, but unfortunately, we were not able to move to one of those rooms. Overall, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the location is excellent. However, if you’re planning to stay in Waterton during the summer, I strongly recommend confirming that your hotel room has air conditioning before booking to avoid the same disappointment.”

“This was our second time staying at Crandall Mountain Lodge in the last year. Our first stay was great, and we had no complaints. This time around we had a bit of a subpar experience. Management handled it with competency and compassion and all ended up well in the end. Our problem stemmed from one of the beds in our room being of much worse quality than the other. It was extremely noisy and uncomfortable, so much to the point where I slept on the floor because I kept waking up my wife due to how loud it was. Thankyou to management for sorting this out, and I hope the problem gets resolved for future customers as well. ”

“We stayed for a weekend and our expectations were exceeded on every aspect of our stay. Our room was a mountain view and was an oasis of serene calm even though it faced the parking lot. We dined in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the best burgers we ever had. The pub has a great selection of craft beer from the brewery in Lundbreck. We loved the location of this accommodation as it is away from the congestion of the centre of Waterton and sits directly on the walking paths that lead to multiple destinations. The pub is busy so try to book a room away from it unless you are a natural nighthawk.”
