“Nice location about 15 mins to downtown. I only expect that everyday there will be a cleanup of the room. but apparently not.”

“It states there is a bar, no bar and during my booking it stated no where that the restaurant was closed for renovations. That was quite disappointing ”

“Good location, walking distance to most attractions. Room was good and clean. Nice looking restaurant but we never ate there . A hot tub would be nice or sauna. Towels seemed old and thin and need updating. Did not receive cookies at check in and was denied my Hilton points as I booked through Agoda app. So that was disappointing. I did get cookies next day when I went to deal saying did not receive at check in ”

“Traveled to St John's with my mom. Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Very clean with great amenities. Staff members were very helpful with all my inquiries. Our booking included a free breakfast, otherwise I believe it's $22 per person. Food was good, same selection for all 4 days we were there. The only con I have for the hotel is the cell reception as I had issues connecting to my provider's signal. They do have wifi though so you are still able to do whatever you need to do online. Location was good; fairly close to the downtown area.”

“The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area, while the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, with reliable Wi-Fi and well-maintained bathrooms. A solid choice for those seeking comfort and convenience.”

“Went there for a concert at the hotel, only to find out there was no onsite parking (but they were working on it… somehow). So we had to drive to a parking garage as most close parking was a long walk from hotel. And the parade had a 6am move your car notice. No type of arrangement for lack of parking or voucher for longer stay parking . And the room had 0 water to drink, nor to buy in room. Lack lustre room and value for money. The lobby is nice, but that was it”

“Right at the very heart of St. John's. I'd be very surprised if any of the nearby hotels are better! Big bonus is the lovely and excellent cafe in the lobby, which serves great coffee.”

“It might appear to be a little strange from the outside, given there are luxury, modern hotels surrounding Murray Premises, however, this building is unique and has history. I would have liked to see the historical nature of this fish factory more predominantly displayed inside the building, but each room is unique because of the layout. The proximity to all good bars and restaurants was perfect. Highly recommend!”

“Very happy at Monastery”
