“For the price you pay, the room is super basic. No smart TV, every night there is a loud vibrating noise coming from the building adjacent, the hot water takes for ever to come on. The poor design of the bathroom room is truly shocking. No power point so you can’t get ready in the bathroom, only one light that is connected to an exhaust fan so every time you use the bathroom you wake up everyone. A simple night light would have worked great. If you don’t have a car you have no options for dinner as the restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. The swimming pool is great and the staff were excellent but for the price you pay you are better looking for something in actual Stellenbosch town centre. Overall I would not recommend this place and have been very disappointed with my stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much and everything was exceptional, especially the service. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast a la carte menu at the Volkskombuis restaurant. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant as well and the food was amazing. ”
