“A group of eight of us traveled to Shiduli Safari Lodge for a friend's birthday. For most of us, it was a first safari experience, but for at least one guest, it was a third safari. From both perspectives, Shiduli really offered a great experience for an exceptional price. Booking on Agoda saved us a good amount but did not affect our experience at all. The rooms were clean and spacious with high ceilings, a large bathroom, and comfortable beds. You could very comfortably relax there or in one of the indoor/outdoor lounge spaces, the pool, or the indoor dining room. The food was delicious, and they had a special cake and performance/celebration for our friend's birthday! There were also snacks in our room if we got hungry between meals, which honestly didn't really happen. And of course the safari rides were incredible! Our guide and tracker were a great team and very open in sharing about their own experiences growing up in the area and becoming certified for the jobs. They were very much looking out for us each morning and evening and provided an entertaining ride filled with many animal sightings. We saw four out of the big five in our 3 day stay (just missing the elusive leopard). My favorite was walking up to and following the cheetahs through the woods, something we never could have done in a public park. The guide and tracker's incredible knowledge of animals (both individual animals they had seen a myriad of times and of certain species' habits as a whole) was so valuable! I would highly recommend staying here. It's a bit of a drive from the airport, but very worth it!”
