“The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is right downtown within walking distance of the historic district and several bars and shops. Disappointed about parking availability and having to pay $5 each time we came back to the hotel. Meals from the restaurant for breakfast are overpriced when you can walk across the street to a very popular breakfast restaurant for much less. The room was clean and comfortable, the pillows were like a fluffy cloud. Mattress would have been more comfortable with a thicker padded mattress cover. The water pressure in the shower of our room was very low. It felt like a light rain shower though which was nice but not ideal when you need to rinse shampoo out of thick hair lol. LOVED the high end bathrobes! Put on straight after a shower and get warm and dried off in luxury! All-in-all ”

“I really wanted to like the hotel because the staff was so awesome!!! We stayed 2 nights. The first night we stayed on the first floor. We had so many issues with noise! You could hear doors slamming, dogs barking, people walking above in lead shoes, toilets flushing and showers in neighboring rooms, and kids screaming. The hotel staff was so great and was able to move us to the 3rd floor with no neighbors. We were still able to hear doors slamming through the night, but it was better. I attempted to get a roll away bed for the second night to get some better sleep, but they do not have them. Just resign yourself to the fact that you will have to sleep in the same bed with your child and the constant onslaught of random assaults all night. The room we were in seemed to have some structural problems where the bathroom floor was pulling away from the wall and dropped at least an inch on one side and some makeup was lost in the crack. The pool and gym needed some TLC. The rooms were ok but the beds needed to be replaced and walls were so thin. Breakfast was included so that was nice. Overall the place was just Meh, but the staff was great. ”
