“I had family business in town and needed a quick, convenient place to stay. There are tons of chain hotels in the surrounding area, but the Inn is a quiet respite and my go to hotel. With the tri-college campuses on winter break, it was even quieter. But the staff was still friendly and accommodating, and it looks like the hotel is taking advantage of the downtime to spruce up the place with fresh paint. Fitness room is adequate with quality Precor treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, and a small assortment of free weights. Not the poshest place but definitely welcoming, clean, and comfortable.”

“The hotel is good & in good location. The only problem we didn’t like was our room is like in a connecting room so we heard the baby cry in the other room like really loud. The toilet has a problem everytime we flush it. We eat downstairs and it was really cold no heater, our food got cold right away. ”

“Easy check in, parking was very close but not part of the hotel so there is a charge. Breakfast served by friendly staff, omelets cooked to your specifications. Happy hour with two free drinks was a nice touch. light snacks were also free, cheese, chips, trail mix, assorted fruit, etc. I enjoyed my stay.”

“We are in South Bend often but had never stayed at this hotel. Its on par with others we stay at with better value for your money. The staff is attentive, the room was clean and quiet, the pillows and bed were comfortable. The location is less desirable for walking, but it is a very short drive to ND, is across from a coffee shop and has plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again. ”

“And staying at Aloft made the whole weekend so unstressful!! We were able to check in a little early which was great bc my girl and I seriously needed naps. And the whole weekend, staff was pleasant, accommodating, and hilarious! If I ever end up in South Bend again, I will definitely be staying at Aloft for sure!”
