“For a luxury hotel, the reception staff were friendly enough, but not that professional. They all looked and behaved like mature college students. Nice, but not experienced. A couple of the staff were exceptional, like the valet, Forest and driver, Vince. Also, housekeeping woke us up at 8am, and the front reception's response was to suggest we hang our do not disturb placard on the door. We've stayed at many hotels and have never been woken up that early for housekeeping, even on check out days. Not a good way to start a relaxing vacation. ”

“This is a beautiful house with attentive staff. Lots of nice touches in style and service. Gorgeous gardens. Happy hour and breakfast in the garden or on big veranda overlooking the gardens. We wanted to stay longer, and would definitely go back. ”

“Nice place to stay, a bit expensive, but still cheeper than most low end hotels in S.B.. The room I had was very clean and the bathroom was great too. Refrigerator and microwave and coffee make all clean and in good working order. ”

“location is little off State (main street)but they has good parking lot and nice staff. recommend to stay 2nd floor because 1st floor is little noisy where is front of parking lot. Totally, good to recommend and will back here again.”
