“We stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites San Marcos near the Outlet Mall for one night during our road trip after spending the day at the outlet, so we could easily go back again the next day. The location was very convenient for that purpose. The staff were kind, helpful, and very accommodating—they even allowed me to print one document at the reception area before checkout, which was really appreciated and a big plus for us. The room was decent and functional. The bed was average but comfortable enough for a short stay. We liked that we could see our car from the room window, which gave us peace of mind. The room had a fridge and microwave, plenty of towels, and the restroom was clean. We chose a room without a bathtub, and the enclosed shower area was good with strong water pressure, which we appreciated. Breakfast was also a nice touch—scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, mini apples, coffee, and juices. We were able to bring the food back to our room, which was convenient. A few things to note: the TV is not a smart TV, and one of the art frames in the room showed signs of mold. I suggest that management consider changing or updating the art frames to improve the overall room condition.”

“The manager Shannon or Sharon, and the youger lady at front desk were very rude and disrespectful. They treated me poorly discriminated my guest. There is always an issue there”

“We were assigned a room last night, and upon arrival, we discovered that the room had not been cleaned by housekeeping. It was obvious that the previous guests had just checked out, as there were sheets piled on the bed, towels on the floor, and trash still in the room. We arrived late in the evening and were extremely tired after a long day of travel. Unfortunately, we had to return to the reception desk and wait while another room was assigned to us, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. To make matters worse, the bathtub drain in the replacement room was not functioning properly. While showering, the water drained very slowly, causing the bathtub to fill with standing water. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. We hope these issues can be addressed to prevent other guests from experiencing the same inconvenience.”

“The hotel is kind of old, pool was not available, ice machine was broken and the elevator feels like in any minute is going to broke. But if you do a late check inn and and early check out it works. The room is big, just make sure you get a king bed because queen was too small with a little kid. The worst thing about this hotel was the personal at check inn, we arrived around midnight because we travel from Mexico and we were tired, we just want our key and go to sleep, but the old lady in the counter was kind of training a young woman and they were soooo slow and annoying, we waited around 20minutes all the check inn. They charge me 2 times incidental fees, because the young lady didn't know how to use the machine, and even that I have my daughter in arms sleeping they don't bother to speed the check inn, even that it was already paid. They also ask for my address I said is in Mexico and they make me spell it in full for the check inn card, then at check out I saw the address was just Mexico, they just want to bother us. Worst check inn experience ever”

“Have stayed in different Hampton Inns across US. But this was the BEST so far. It was clean, cozy, located near the interstate, restaurants nearby, great breakfast, great amenities... I can go on ... Enjoyed with my family! ”

“All good, as expected with the price tag. But they advertised having an EV charging station on the lot. They had it but it was not functional and the parking space allotted for charging was not reserved for actual EVs. They do not have monitoring of the parking lot, so it’s a lie when they say they will ask the owner of the car to move their vehicle. My bad that I didn’t call the hotel before hand as my decision to choosing this hotel was mainly for the presence of a charging station. But would I call before hand to check if the listed microwave/fridge is truly in the room? Probably not. Thankfully, the Firestone store next door had a charging station that was at a walkable distance, otherwise, I would’ve not been able to keep my cool. ”
