“We enjoyed our stay very much! The bartender was kind to offer a glass of wine at the bar after last call for the night as we arrived later than planned. The room was comfortable and the location couldn't be better- just a few steps from the Roanoke Amtrak station.”

It's in a convenient location off of the highway and within walking distance to Roanoke historic town. The hotel was very clean overall. My room was recently renovated which showed. Staff were generally helpful. I stayed for a conference held within their conference center. The conference facilities were great including buffet. Overall, this is a wonderful historic hotel, and I have no complaints. My only wish is that they had more take-out food offerings. There are several sit-down dining halls, but only one cafe that offers take-out sandwiches. There are no convenience stores or groceries in the immediate walking distance.”
